we celebrated my birthday yesterday with a garden dinner. my mum had the food wrapped up from our favorite chinese restaurant so that i won't be cooking for my own birthday. i just baked one of my favorite cakes and that's it. we ate dinner together with a few relatives at our very own garden. and one thing's for sure, my diet was ruined. good thing i'm working out regularly! hehehe...
For the food: we had Yang Chow fried rice, all-time fave pancit canton, shanghai and the famous Steamed Fish in Soy Sauce. Mmm... simple yet so scrumptuous!
After eating in the garden tent, we had a few snap shots of ourselves.
After all the food that we ingested, we indulged ourselves to a slice or two of this home-made Devil's Food cake and some Merlot red wine. Such a wonderful combination!
